Workshops

We currently offer two main types of workshops: an introductory workshop and four specialised workshops on aspects of working with the Holistic Development Model.

1. Introduction to working with the Holistic Development Model

This two-day workshop is for anyone who wants to understand and use the Holistic Development Model in their work and life.

Day One: introduces the Holistic Development Model.  We work though a series of exercises that allow you to pause and reflect deeply on your own work and life.  From these insights you come to understand the Holistic Development Model experientially and can also plan to take action.

Day Two: explores ways to use the Holistic Development Model to increase meaningfulness in areas that are specifically relevant to you: family life, work, working with others, career planning and running your organisation or using the model as a template for framing policy.

While the workshop has a practical focus, working for two days focused on meaningfulness also restores and refreshes the heart and soul.

2. Specialised one-day workshops

These are for you to increase your understanding of specific applications of the Holistic Development Model and its relation to meaningful work. This could be tailored for your professional group such as nurses or prison workers, or aimed at helping an organisation with a specific issue.  All these work-shops have a practical focus, but inspiration and insight are impossible to keep out!

"This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to be open to the essential aspects of being truly human. We were able to speak spiritual truths while being realistic and draw on inspiration while also en-gaging with the suffering that accompanies spiritual growth. The facilitator has a dignity and openness that enables people to walk with her. It has been a richly rewarding time and many connections have been made. Thank you."
